The first appointment

It's important that you have counselling with someone you connect with, and can talk to. For this reason, the first session is an opportunity for us to meet, ask questions and decide whether we wish to work together - without any obligation.

How can Counselling help?

Allowing yourself professional support, in an environment that is confidential and non-judgemental, can often help you gain clarity and peace of mind.
My role as a counsellor is to actively listen, so that you can not only feel heard but also understood.I genuinely care, and as a result my clients tend to find it easy to trust me.
I will work alongside you helping you to understand, and manage  uncomfortable feelings such as anxiety, anger, depression or relationship problems. Provide you with practical self-help techniques   (if required), and support you to make choices that are right for you so that you can move forward.
As a professional accredited counsellor, I adhere to the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) ethical framework of good practice, which supports your wellbeing.
